Nose is is toast, butter, biscuits, lemon, slight cream. Taste leads with pine, and grapefruit from the citra, leading through to licorice herbs smoke, ash, coco, pepper and roasted malt. Finish is long bitter and very dry, balancing the pine with ash. Mouthfeel is rich. Very nice beer. Still a stupid concept though.

Dark brown/black pour, with beige head. Smells of roasted malts, fruit, coffee. The taste is quite fruity with roasted malts, and light coffee. Good mouthfeel and body.

06-05-17 // can at Naiv Frankfurt. Pours a deep black beer with nice beige head. Nose is hoppy, some sweet malts and coffee. Roasted malts in the beginning, mild coffee, followed by a great bitterness. Great Black IPA!

Was way past due date. Dark robe. Nose of caramel and coffee. Medium body. Hoppy attack. In mouth some coffee. Bitter finish with notes of green hops and herbs. A bit shy (maye due to date), but quite balanced and really nice. A good standard black IPA (which is already quite difficult to get)

Bottle from Oddbins Hyndland, Glasgow. Beer served in 10C, Duvel Glass. Pours black with nice medium head. Aroma is smoky, roasted malts, coffee and something skunky, that smells like street cannabis, oxidized hops maybe. Taste is ashy, smoke, roasted sweet malts, creamy with herbal, slightly fruity bitterness.

0,33l can from Beergium shared. Pours almost black color with some head. Flavor of quite roasted malts, chocolate, fruits, pine, sweetness. Quite bitter and thick body, balanced thoroughly, distinct carbonation. Works well, heavy on both worlds.

2016 catch up - Can at home - It was a good black IPA, but, in my opinion, closer to a stout than the IPA. There were hops, but I felt that I wanted more. It was a great mouth feel and the malt was very good.

330 ml can from London Brew Market, Old Spitalfields Market, London, UK. It puts black with a medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, coffee, chocolate and fruits... Maybe orange, lemon, peach. Very particular. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, carbonation is average. Liked it!
