COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bloody ‘Ell – We have never brewed a straight IPA at Beavertown, why change the habit of a lifetime! Here we take a stripped back IPA malt bill and highly hop it with the tropics of Amarillo and Citra and pile head on with kilos of Blood Orange zest and juice late in the boil, bringing you a smack of citrus and hints of warm orange aromas. One of our favourite and most popular seasonal brews. We will be canning Bloody ‘Ell too from February until the bloody oranges run dry!

Hazy golden color. Big citrusy blood orange, hoppy bitter nose. Dry, very juicy well balanced. Nice stuff.

Pretty much what youd expect from something like this - a glass of oj, lack of carb and all. Hoppy aroma with a surprising absence of citrus. Refreshing and drinkable as ell for the abv, dont get me wrong, but it can get one-dimensional in regards to the orange.

A 330ml can with a best before date of 17th July 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a lightly hazy golden yellow orange colour with a two finger white head that had pretty good retention and left nice lacing. Aromas of mandarin and orange rind with hints of pine and grapefruit. Tastes sweetish and zesty orange and mandarin with a hint of honeydew and pine. Finish is lightly lasting bitterness. Lightly crisp, medium to light bodied with moderate to light carbonation. Overall nicely refreshing for a hot summer day and surprised that it’s 7.2% ABV as it definitely doesn’t feel that high. For me, I would have preferred slightly more carbonation and a stronger bitterness though.

Great Beer! Nice grapefruit aroma combined with a floral, citrus hop aroma. The 7,2% ABV is very well integrated. Packaging is quite nice too!

On tap @ Bergen Beer Craft Fest. Pours hazy dark yellow, with a small, creamy head. Aroma is hoppy, with orange, and light tropical notes with peach. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter, with citrus, peaches and tropical notes, as well as some malts with toffee.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2017 Puszka 330ml. Jasno-zloty kolor. Piana biala, srednia, pozostaje w szkle. Slodkie nuty mango marakuji i ananasow. Bardzo pijalne i bardzo zdradliwe...przy swoich ponad 7 dobrze ukrytych procentach.

Mooi citroengeel licht troebel bier met parelende witte schuimkraag die langzaamaan inzakt. Mooi fris fruitig aroma. Citrus, passievrucht, mango, exotisch fruit. Creamy mondgevoel. Mooi zacht-bittere afdronk. Mooie balans. Meer dan prima ipa.

330ml.tulip glass. Jesus Christ man I was fucken wasted when drinking this fruit punch. I ordered two pizzas and past out before I could pay the east euro bro. It’s laddish behaviour such as this that my girlfriend emphasises why her mother thinks she should dump my frat boy ass. Nose of mango, orange pith, zezt, . Golde but definitely not low boost gold. Hoppy, bitter, jucy and pleasant. I will give a coherent rerate. A cool can.
