3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Black beer with thin tan head. Saisony yeast aroma with some chocolate. Yep a decent saison. God I like a saison. Good fullness and not overly roasty. Decent light choc flavours. Good hoppy finish. Moreish beer if you like a saison, which I do.
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy dark brown with a thin light tan head. The aroma is like a Belgian Dubbel, with some citrus fruit. The flavour is weak sour. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a thin texture. Citrus sourness and some piney notes on the palate. kermis (14567) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2013

Keg at British Craft Beer Challenge. Dark black colour, decent white head. Rather bland flavour, some generic dark malt character, didn’t get too much of a saison character or indeed anything much at all. Idiosynkrasie (7980) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUL 24, 2013
330ml bottle. Clear dark ruby red colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, pinkish head. Spicy yeasty aroma, hints of cherries, red berries, a dry touch of fruit parings and grapes. Taste is minimally tart and minimally sweet fruity, dry hoppy overtones, also a dry note of fruit parings, a spicy yeasty touch throughout. FatPhil (17080) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 20, 2013
330ml bottle - shared by VastActiv - thanks!
Black, fizzy head. Weak aroma, has a slight saison yeast aroma. This is just a dark ale with saison yeast. Thin watery palate. Fizzy. Boring. Slightly grungy saisony finish. Why?!?!
