Bottle at Dishoom, It pours hazy golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, juicy orange, bread, orange muffin, peach, some spice and white sugar. The taste is bitter - sweet, bread, muffin,. orange zest, candied peel, pepper and earth with a smooth, dryish finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Came across a bit maltier than I was expecting, but works rather well with the food. Decent. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - DEC 23, 2014
33cl bottle at Dishoom, London. It pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, lightly grainy and grassy, lightly spicy. Notes of citrusy hops, rye, herbs, malts and pine. Taste is grainy grassy and spicy, with more caramel, rye, grass, citrus and pine cones. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, ok for what it’s meant to be Leighton (23090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2014
Bottle at the Covent Garden Dishoom - London. Pours dark gold-amber with a frothy off-white head. This is a pretty sweet IPA, but personally I think sweetness goes better with spicy food than bitterness. The flavor is moderately bready with slight bitter orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with lightly toasted bread, ripening citrus, soft piney earth. Goes very well with the food. Nicely done. Drucken på underskriven restaurang. Ölen fyllde sin funktion till indisk mat av inte alltför kryddstark karaktär - rätt mjuk och rätt perfekt för ändamålet.

Bottle at Dishoom, funnily enough. Curious bottle art! Orangey brown colour, smallish head. Rye IPA isn’t a bad shout with Indian food, nice sweet slightly funky malt base with some fresh bitter citrusy hops. I thought this was a little bit thin to be honest, more of a strongish rye bitter, pleasant with the food but lacking assertiveness overall. Pours a slightly hazy amber/golden yellow with a large bubbly head which disapated slowly. Aromas are bread, malty, citrus, flowers, evergreen, orange. Flavour is a strong bitterness which is long lasting with almost no sweetness. MannyGoldberg (259) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Sampled at the Dishoom Shoreditch. Very impressive for the ABV. Goes a lot better with the food than the other beer offerings, London Fields Unfiltered Lager and Kingfisher.

Bottle, 33 cl at Indian cafe Dishoom, St Martins Lane, Covent Garden in London. Unclear golden with a white head, good retention and nice lacings. Wonderful aromatic nose, with sweetish light bready malty notes and a fruitbowl of citrusy hops and piney accents. Flavor is straight forward American IPA- style, fruity almost zesty, creamy mouthfeel, with a heavy bitter finish perfectly fit for the luscious Indian food served at this cafe.
