Draft at Bru Craft. Nearly opaque black pour with a thick foamy tan head. Off-even pour of glossy dark malts with several strong unexpected notes. Immediate roasty malts. Dark chocolate liquor. Cold Diner coffee. But peanuts. A huge range of liquorice notes.

Tap (TCBW2016)
Basically black, small tight beige head. Lovely coffee aroma, and a good malty roast generally. Eww, something sour going on in the taste. Fullish palate, but is a bit rough and dirty. Well that went downhill quickly!

Kauge (1747) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 19, 2016
Tap sample at Tallinn Craft Beer Festival. Last one of the day. Obviously very short notes... I did like the roast and dry ashy tobacco-ish notes. A bit too aggressive, ballsy. Worth revisiting.

Tap, TCBW 16. Dark body, aroma has some astringent roast and perhaps indeed, tobacco. A bit rusty taste with soy and more astringent roast. Too harsh. Not very smooth, did not like it much.
