Can from mchughs. Pours brown black with tan head. Excellent lacing on the glass, just sticks to glass. Aroma is cherry, cocoa, coffee, chocolate, blackberry, tobacco, leather, grass. Flavour is a cherry sweet cocoa, coffee with salty hints. The mouthfeel is a velvet cream finish. It goes down so easy. Fruity blackberry, cherry finish. Almost like a black Forrest geautau. Pours black with an off white head, aroma of treacle, toffee, raisin and mocha. Taste is coffee, burnt sugar, treacle, dark fruits and, roasted malt vanilla (not necessarily cherry. Though suppose more maraschino-y?) Some carbonation - nice heavy mouthfeel, quite easy to drink. Finish is lingering dry, alcohol-warmth,with more cofee, treacle and decent bitterness plus some booze-soaked fruit. Maybe a hint of the salt keeping things in balance.

Medium bodied,smooth,nicely carbonated & super drinkable for an imperial stout the finish is dry,bitter,salty with more coffee,dark chocolate & fruit .
