A solid go to when on tap, this pours heavy and sits sweet on the tongue.
Overall enjoyable and exactly what you would expect from Beavertown.

1/3 pint, hanging bat, keg. Pours black with a light tan head subsiding quickly. Scent is medium toasted malt. Taste is dense fruits and dense toasted malt with light smokiness and very strong body. Finish is dry and plain. Good. Quite complex, too much for me in this state. Maybe great. Great. Mjp12 (1861) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2015
Poured from a can, thick black, with a dense tan foam. Tobacco and toffee aroma, there is enough cherry fruit to cut through this, to clear the alcohol away. Not the most intense impy stout, but a pretty easy drinking one. Mr_Pink_152 (4990) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2015

Pours out like treacle with a thick cocoa head. Aroma is tobacco and roasted malts with a hint of vanilla. This is a very thick beer. A little salted caramel, some chicory and a slight tangy finish. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 15, 2015
on tap at mikkeller and friends. pretty damn close to black with next to no head; aroma hints at rolling tobacco, terriyaki, toffee apple; thick texture; plenty of bitterness, hints of stonefruit, caramel, soy. plenty going on but doesn’t sit together perfectly Sebilinz (2345) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUN 26, 2015
Bottle. Black body with nearly no tan head. Aroma is roasted malts with dried fruits and toffee with some vanilla. Taste is vanilla cherries with roasted malts and some salt. Clear reddish dark brown beer, small creamy beige to brown head, bit adhesive, little stable. Aroma: very roasted, bit dusty, lots of coffee, sweet touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sourish start, roasted, bitter touch, coffee, bit of vegetables. Aftertaste: greenish, bitter, roasted, ok but a little weird.
