Flavour is toasted malts, some tobacco, ripe fruits, some mild toffee/fudge and a bit alcohol sweetness. Mellowly balanced. It’s a while since I last had an imperial stout this tobaccoish.

Opaque black - brown beer with a big fluffy tan head. Palate is viscous, airy and a little soft. The dark malt is soft and a little creamy. Dry coffee bitterness provides contrast. Trace of brandyish alcohol spice. Sweetish lactose and light plummy fruits. Semi dry finish. Overall quite a tangy beer and it could use a little less tang. Nice though. Need a BA version!
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2015 Bottle at home... Deep black... Thin tan lacing... Rich meaty malts... Soft fruity nose... Big dark roast. .. Bitter charcoal roast... Heavy malts... Little too dry
