COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION The Bollywood of beers. We wanted to build a recipe which really pushed the love affair between dark malts and hops. So we designed the brew around allowing the hops to sing on top of a dark malt bomb. We aimed to brew an almost dark chocolate-like base beer and then piled on with the tropics of summit and centennial hops, lifting the waves of smooth chocolate off the tongue. We categorise Holy Cowbell as an India stout. India coming from the same meaning behind India pale ale. Basically lots and lots of hops added in their masses at the end of the boil and then in dry hop, to extract maximal hop flavour and aroma!

Can at home. Deep brown, almost black colour small brown lacing. Nose is dissonant. Hops and chocolate. Taste is pretty dissonant as well. Hoppy bitterness with definitve roasted malty notes. Idk. Feels like someone grabbed a wrong bag of malts when brewing an ipa...

Carbonatacin media. Textura acuosa. Aroma lupulado, resinoso, a caf y malta tostada.

Is it a black IPA or a hoppy stout? I don't know but this is a turbulent marriage of bitter hops and bitter malts. The slightest hue of plumb makes this the darkest of brown and the half finger of light tan head that was soon spent. Nose has a fervid herbal hop hit over the notes of coffee, dark chocolate, hints of liquorice and dark fruits Mouthfeel is medium with moderate carbonation. Bursting with bold character it kerpows tastebuds, upfront is the edgy herbal note followed by the acerbic malts bitter coffee chocolate and liquorice. The flavours linger and when the intensity ebbs away there is a burnt caramel and dark fruit. A complex concoction the is calculated to be a dry intense experience.

330ml can. Pours extremely dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolatey, hops, tropical fruit and pine. Taste is hop forward, tropical fruits and pine, but theres a nice malty base, chocolatey and roasty, finish is bitter and hoppy again. Medium body and medium-high carbonation, mouthfeel is quite smooth if a little gassy. Decent BIPA, not quite as good as Black Betty though.

Pours pitch black with thick beige head. Nose of intense hops and roasted barley, however hops is dominating. Taste is extreme roasty coffee to cocoa notes followed by green hops, herbal and bold. Finish is mainly roasted barley... AWESOME!
