Many thanks to Rian for this can. Fresh and malty beginning, not too much smoke there. Nice malty porter, quite dry and highly drinkable with only very few hints of smoke.

Can 330 ml / Bier-Bienne (CH). Almost black beer with an average brown head. Immediate smoked aromas, roasted, chocolate, caramel with note of licorice. The taste is roasted with a typical smoked beech wood. There is raisin, caramel and molasses rocked by a resinous hop. Nice.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with huge head. Aromas of lightly smoked malts, dark almost sour fruit, and chicory. Flavors follow same with smokiness well integrated and not prime. Well balanced and tasty. Great stuff.

herrklemann (186) - Graz, AUSTRIA - FEB 8, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2017 Draft at Flann O?Brien Graz. Small, creamy, beige head. Body is dark brown with a dark amber hue. Aroma of smoke, blackberry, roasty coffee, wood. Taste is straight forward, lightly sweet with light bitterness. Creamy, light-to-medium body, with soft carbonation. Notes of dark berries, mixed with smoke and roasty malts. Not as smoky as its Austrian competitor Bevog Ond, lighter on the hops as well. Very smooth.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2017 Does what it says on the tin, a smoked proter, very smoked. It is darker than the german Aecht, more thick, more cigarette. Still not sure how I feel about it.

Can, from minutemat-- thanks! Dark brown with amber highlights and a light brown head. Roast and smoke dominate, but in equal balance. Smokey character is more campfire/burnt toast in nature. Medium bodied, roasty bitter finish.

Very intense and smokey smoked porter. Aroma is just pure smoke, dark malts and some hints of liquorice. Very intense. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Flavour is also creamy and smooth, smoke not as intense as the aroma. Very nice!
