COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Berliner Weiss aged on Woodford reserve barrels for 3 months and infused with lime zest and aromatic bitters. Pours with a slight greenish hue. The nose is dominated by aromatic lime and pomerans with a whiff of bourbon in the distance. A balanced experience where the bitterness from the citrus plays off the sweetness of the bourbon and the acidity of the base beer

Poues rather clear blonde, small white head. Smell is soapy, spices, tad sweet, herbal. Taste is tart, sour, dry, soapy, tad sweet, oak. Very complex and intense. Would be a terrific beer if not this soapy.

@ Beerlovers Bar 17/01/2017 (Thanks Geert De Ben) Citric aroma. Taste is citric, only a tad of bourbon. More citric. Rather thin palate.

Geht so.

Drinked in bottle. On the nose fresh ginger, lemon zest, lime juice and ceder. I expected some notes from the barrels or specially from the bourbon, but personally, in this bottle, on the nose I didn't notice. In mouth is unexpectedly balanced, a very enjoyable and fresh tartness, the after taste is lime and some sicilian orange.

Bevuta in bottiglia. Molto limpida giallo limone schiuma molto fine.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman. Light haze on this pale gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Thin palate, mildly crisp. Big punchy lime and lesser lemon. Lime sherbet and lime peel. Floral lime finish. Bourbon? No scurvy here then! Nice!

Keg at the Bat. Cloudy amber. Nose is lime, tart fruits, bourbon. Tastes tart zest, lime, sweet vanilla, gentle bourbon, little wood. Good balance, barrel brings something extra but does not dominate.

July 2017 - Bottle shared at Leighton’s. Many thanks to Wingman. As ’Beavertown Tempus Project - Moonshiner BA’. Matte orange, hazy and still, foamy off-white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is mostly lime, some lemon, lots of lime, sherbet, air freshener. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is lime and air freshener, mint, spicy. Interesting stuff. (7-4-6-3-15=3.5)

Keg @ECBF (The Biscuit Factory) 2017. Pours golden white head. Nose zesty fruits, pineapple. Taste is citrus sour fruits, big lime, slight whisky at the end, odd, not unpleasant i like the beer but odd.
