(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours amber with a slight reddish hint and a white head. Notes of rose/red wine with a helping of berries, strawberries and raspberries especially, fruit skins, red grapes, ample oak is a touch buttery, wet soft funk, lactic acidity, touch of citrus, yeasty, plenty of tart berries in the finish, a touch of astringent tannin. Acidity is clear on the nose but rather muted on the tongue in comparison. Finishes fairly dry. Feels rather similar to other grape sours but with a little twist, probably from the wine yeast. Interesting, solid, and pretty enjoyable. klm1 (2108) - Bled/SF, - DEC 2, 2017
