I have a load of time for Mr Mann, reviews pretty much spot on. This is ok, cloves, some saisonny flavouring, can’t cope quite with the abv. viktorvee (510) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2013
Rich aroma of wheat, tropical fruit and banana. Looks the part, although not murksy at all. Tastes floral, wheaty, spicy scant carbonation. Hint of coriander? Just a slightly dry and sour-ish taste at the end. You wouldn’t have guessed it’s 6.2%. Pretty nice, especially in the sun. Leighton (21232) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle at home in London - procured from the City Beverage Company. Pours cloudy gold with a soft, creamy white head. Aroma holds tons of yeast, banana and clove. Medium sweet flavor with some crisp, lightly dried dough, lots of wheat and yeast, light lemony tang, some ripe banana. Light to medium bodied with average, somewhat creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with very light straw bitterness, lots more dough, some mellow bubblegum, hay, yeast, wheat, mashed bananas and lemon zest. A fairly dynamic and tasty saison. tommann (3746) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2013
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a thin head. Aroma is wheaty, clove and bubblegum. Taste has lots of clove, bubblegum on the finish. Low carbonation but full in the mouth.
