Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day one, 08/09/17. A heavy jet black coloured pour with a a lasting tan frothy head. Aroma is rich spicy coffee, roast and earthy choc, lovely. Beaverfest Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, good dark tan head. Smooth palate, slightly viscous. Modest fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, well integrated but intense coffee, earthy coffee. Modest dark chocolate. A little spice. Semi dry finish. Spicy linger. Rich and tasty.
On tap at at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Pours black with brown head. Huge intensive coffee on nose. Roasted malts, cocoa, chocolate, but mostly coffee. Sweet. Oily, dense, almost no carbonation. Cask (!?) at Beavertown Extravaganza. It pours opaque jet black with a thick tan head. The aroma is big, sweet, sticky, juicy, jammy, charred wood ,tobacco, wood, big rich roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and brownie. The taste is rich roasted malt, charred wood ,heavy sweetness, coffee, charred action, burnt toast, crunchie bar, toffee crisp, tar, coffee, burnt cake and a touch of ash with a slick finish. Full body and fine, lively carbonation. Intense and flavoursome. Very nice stuff indeed.

September 2017 - Cask at Beavertown Extravaganza. As 'Beavertown / 3 Floyds Tempus Project Heavy Lord Coffee'. Dark brown – pretty much black, dense foamy brown head. Aroma is huge coffee, roast malts. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is dark chocolate, big coffee, rich coffee liqueur merged with deep roast malts, ash and a soft bitterness. Excellent. Nose is big on coffee grinds, roast malts, light charr, burnt toffee, chocolate.
Taste comprises rich roast, coffee beans, light black peppery spice, toffee fudge, cacao nibs, mellow dark fruit whisper.
Full bodied, soft carbonation, warming alcohol in the close.
Top draw coffee number, top draw high boost cask beer ... great balance ... possibly my highest rated cask number.
