Keg at the Beavertown Brewery Tap. Golden, cloudy. Perfumed flowery aroma with hibiscus and gardenia as the standout scents. Sweet taste with a sour note in the background. Reasonably uncomplicated but pleasant and certainly drinkable as a comedown. Scopey (15725) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2017
keg at Beavertown. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a medium white head. The aroma is wheat, bread, cereal, grainy, spice, apple and melon. The taste is crisp, dry, fruity, apple, pear, bready, lactic, grainy, cereal, straw and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not bad. Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Some herbal notes I the nose, zesty citrus, grapefruit. Light-medium sweetie with nice wheat bread character, more zest, lemon, hay. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with more wheat bread, further subtly tangy citrus, tangerine. Solid. jooilakon (277) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2017
Tap at Beavertown tap room on 01/07/2017. I love Beavertown and I love the U2 song, but this one was not right up my alley. Aromas of wheat, citrus and spices. Taste is mainly wheat and citrus. Quite sour taste which may be appealing to some.
