(Bottle, 0.5 l, at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, 20110815) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had molasses, chocolate and mildly roasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were molasses, mildly roasted malts, caramell, chocolate, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had roasted malts and bitterness. Very tasty and not too sweet dark lager. Ungstrup (37231) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2011
Bottled. A dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel.
10/11/11/12/12/11

Clear chestnut with a staying, frothy, off-white head. Mild aroma with liqourice, mild caramel, slight grassy and citric notes. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and dryish mouthfeel. Flalvour has good milky chocolate, some roasted notes, light grassy and quite malty roasted bitter with a mild coffee note. A very nice dunkel.
Clear deep copper colour with a firm and lasting off-white head. Aroma of cereal, dark toffee and brown sugar, some herbal hops and a faint hint of DMS. The flavour is sweet malty with balancing hops. I sense a faint hint of cardboard, probably a combination of the hops and DMS - like I do with so many German beers. johndoughty (5398) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2010
Bottle.Brown and poured with a small head.Low carbonation with a pleasant nuttiness. Some fruitiness makes for quite a complex beer.A good example of this style. planky84 (3214) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 12, 2010
