(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a medium-sized light-beige foamy head. Sweet, dark and roasted malt aroma, almost Bock-like with caramel and liquorice, accompanied by very subtle notes of dried fruits. Bitter-sweet flavour with slightly doughy edges, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Robust roast-malty taste, fairly complex with caramel, liquorice and hints of chocolate; moderately dry and bitter finish, derived from roasted malt and bitter hops. Pleasant, not too sweet and almost complex Dunkel with Märzen strength. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2007
