The nose is not very pleasant, mostly cardboard, but it gets better in the mouth. For a cheap Pale Lager, this one actually has some taste. Bitterness ok, some sweetness remains. Body on thin side, but manages to be somewhat smooth.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2015 Clear yellow color, medium sized white head, fades away quickly. Aroma of water with some malt. Slightly sweet, thin body, watery. No vegetables detected. Drinkable for a cheap supermarket lager. //Eurospin Maribor

Golden yellow colour, white foam. Metallic smell. Pleasant on tongue. Bitter, metallic on tongue, grains. Ok drinkable beer.

Kita (2150) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 11, 2012
Canned, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with decent frothy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of grainy malt, grassy hops and some skunky / must notes. Sweet malty taste with biscuit and corn notes, finished lightly bitter. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Typical and pretty average lager...

The aroma is weak but does have some discernable malt and hops. Incidentally, it smells like a German or Dutch Macro lager. The appearance is odd in that it is apparently unfiltered. It is pale gold with a smaller head but I am not so sure I like an unfiltered pale lager; the sediment seems to detract from the appearance. The flavor is bland with lightly toasted malt and herbal hops. The palate is thin. Other than for the particles this is an unremarkable beer.

envane (570) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2005
Deep yellow colour. Spicy, dusty aroma. This was pretty malty compared to what I was expecting with some green apple notes. Mild spicy hop finish. Maybe slightly better than Becks.

I found it better than that other pale lager, the one form Holland. Beefed up skunk smell. Tasted watery, somewhat malt assertive, generic.

This is a rough rough beer. This is like if Rolling Rock was from Germany. Skunky smell and taste without having ACTUAL skunk smell and taste...just like Rolling Rock. Not good.
