"Becker's. It's German for Beer." Wait a minute, perhaps I'm remembering the ad campaign for Beck's instead. Anyway, this Becker's Lager is really yeasty in a pleasant way. It's got considerable malt and is slightly sweet. Has some of the weirdness of a Soviet-era Zhiguly lager. Very enjoyable! Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2003
Somehow arrived un-skunked in it's green bottle. Honestly, that would have at least added something to it - it had some mellow bready malts, but that's all - thin, bubbly and generally hop-less. Give me a pils to quench my thirst. Color was a clear dark yellow with nice sized white head. Kita (2147) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 11, 2012
Canned, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with decent frothy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of grainy malt, grassy hops and some skunky / must notes. Sweet malty taste with biscuit and corn notes, finished lightly bitter. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Typical and pretty average lager... Bottle. Crystal clear gold body with a thick foamy white head. Skunky nose. Taste’s like skunk, cardboard, CO2, corn syrup, and adjuncts. I don’t know if there are alot of adjuncts in this, but it tastes like corn syrup. Not bad, but not good by any stretch. Do yourself a favor and spend your $6.99 on something else. UPDATED: NOV 15, 2015 Clear yellow color, medium sized white head, fades away quickly. Aroma of water with some malt. Slightly sweet, thin body, watery. No vegetables detected. Drinkable for a cheap supermarket lager. //Eurospin Maribor

Clear golden appearance, medium low head. Malty aroma, sweet taste, slightly unbalanced. Average Pale Lager. Rockinout (966) - Kent, Ohio, USA - AUG 7, 2003
Golden color, semi-skunked. Somewhat nutty(?) taste with a dry finish. On the watery side. Jine (903) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - NOV 13, 2004
This is a rough rough beer. This is like if Rolling Rock was from Germany. Skunky smell and taste without having ACTUAL skunk smell and taste...just like Rolling Rock.
Not good. envane (570) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2005
Deep yellow colour. Spicy, dusty aroma. This was pretty malty compared to what I was expecting with some green apple notes. Mild spicy hop finish. Maybe slightly better than Becks. TheRimmer (483) - Florida, USA - JAN 5, 2005
I found it better than that other pale lager, the one form Holland. Beefed up skunk smell. Tasted watery, somewhat malt assertive, generic.
