"Becker's. It's German for Beer." Wait a minute, perhaps I'm remembering the ad campaign for Beck's instead. Anyway, this Becker's Lager is really yeasty in a pleasant way. It's got considerable malt and is slightly sweet. Has some of the weirdness of a Soviet-era Zhiguly lager. Very enjoyable! tallmatt67 (99) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 3, 2003
(Green bottle) My example was moderately lightstruck. Attractive straw color with a dissapating creamy head. Aroma is, like Aurelius notes, "graham crackery". Moderate carbonation somewhat covers a thin, watery body. The finish boasts hop bitterness that's subtle yet strong enough to cover the slight astingency of the malt character. Not bad, but not strongly recommended. Palidor19 (3186) - Brandon, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2006

I opened the bottle with low expectations and after an initial moment of tastelessness this beer developed into a real class act. Minimal white head on a standard golden body. Clean, crisp aroma with light hoppy notes. Flavor is smooth and light with a nice crackle in the finish. After a few sips some malt character appeared and the beer became very pleasant, delicious even. Gives off some nice honey and fruit scents and a strong malt aroma as it develops. Overall, I think this is a good lager that deserves further exploration. I need a six pack and a few hours to work this one out. Aurelius (5295) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 16, 2003
Light, malty, graham crackery aroma. Appearance dings for green bottle, lame label. Medium gold beer with persistant pithy head. Seedish, with biscuity malts -- tastes like a cross between sunflower seeds and shortbread. Loses fizz entirely too quickly, watery, with a medium, bitter finish.

As expected - skunky aroma - this is a German Lager in a green bottle after all - but it dissipates and mellows. Decent white pillowy head with little lacing which disapears quickly. Saaz Hops very apparent and strong flavored. This has a bit of a bite to it - overall, not bad - typical Euro Lager. JPDIPSO (6216) - Wauwatosa, USA - OCT 21, 2003
Light golden color with a quickly dissipating white head. Toasty malt, floral hops and hint of urine aroma. Starts with a floral sweetness which continues throughout the qauff. Finishes with a corn sugar and malt sweetness. Not my type of lager. Neither crisp not clean. envane (570) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2005
Deep yellow colour. Spicy, dusty aroma. This was pretty malty compared to what I was expecting with some green apple notes. Mild spicy hop finish. Maybe slightly better than Becks. Kita (2124) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 11, 2012
Canned, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with decent frothy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of grainy malt, grassy hops and some skunky / must notes. Sweet malty taste with biscuit and corn notes, finished lightly bitter. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Typical and pretty average lager... kuroishi_x (71) - Most na Soči, SLOVENIA - AUG 1, 2012
Golden yellow colour, white foam. Metallic smell. Pleasant on tongue. Bitter, metallic on tongue, grains. Ok drinkable beer.
