COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What this brew lacks in alcohol it certainly makes up for in flavor. This malt beverage (less than 0.5% alcohol by volume) boasts a full, rich, thick head, light amber color and balanced bitterness.

radassace (332) - SCOTLAND - APR 16, 2017
275ml bottle with lunch as I was driving. Havn’t had an alcohol free beer in about 20 years so nothing to compare it too. It was cold, refreshing enough and tasted like a watery pilsner style beer. Some bready malt, and some hop bitterness in the finish. Not bad but obviously lacking hugely in the mouth feel.

Aroma and flavor is initially similar to regular Becks, malty but then an odd funk in the finish.

33cl bottle at TivoliVredenburg; straight out the bottle. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Subtle sweet tones combined with quite some bitterness. Straw, caramel and some hoppy taste. Quite OK and refreshing for a NA brew.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2017 F: medium, white, quick gone. C: gold, clear. A: wort, grainy, sweet grassy. T: wort and grainy again, hint of corn, metallic, light body, medium carbonation, hard to average for this category, 33cl bottle from Farsons Direct shop in Malta.

mabuzzer (845) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - MAR 18, 2017
275ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Clear, pale golden with minimal white head. Sweet icing sugar aroma. Flavour is sweet too, surprisingly malty with some bitterness too. One of the more drinkable alcohol free beers

Bottle, brought by Laura and Efrem. Light pale golden colour, no head, normal carbonation. That usual slightly weird no alcohol character is still there, but there’s a distinct herbal pils hop character, not dissimilar to standard Becks, funnily enough. It is of course the pils flavour which at best divides opinion in head pages. Tastes a bit clunky without any booze to balance, but there’s a good smack to it. It’s fine, not great but a lot better than the scores suggest, but I suspect being a) no alcohol and b) a pils many reviews were decided before even tasting.

Look: clear straw yellow, white fluffy head. Aroma: bready, grainy, some wet cardboard, low to none spicy and grassy hops. Taste is slightly sweet with low hoppy bitterness. Drinkable.

Bottle sampled. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of rich cardboard, wort and weird meaty stale crisp notes. Flavour is above light sweet and light bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

12-02-17 // from a bottle to a plastic cup on a concert. The description is perfect "fake news" or "alternative facts" because its just not true. This beer sucks, it has a big offtasting flavour.

Bottle at Great Expecetations, Reading. Pallid gold with an excessive and unpleasantly prickly fizz in the thin body. Metal dominates throughout; it’s possibly the most metallic beer I’ve ever had. I thought at one point I detected a hint of biscuit, and there was definitely a bit of cardboard in the finish. But mainly it’s metal, with a long-lasting and unpleasant aftertaste. Disgusting. Possibly poisonous. Avoid.
