What this brew lacks in alcohol it certainly makes up for in flavor. This malt beverage (less than 0.5% alcohol by volume) boasts a full, rich, thick head, light amber color and balanced bitterness.

Bottle taken home from WVHNB. Clear golden with short lasting white head. Sweet malts, baby puke, grass, very metallic. Light to medium sweet with nasty chemical bitter finish. Light bodied. Yuck.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2015 Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep golden color with average frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is malty, vegetably and papery. Taste starts sweet worty, follows by grainy sourness with dry mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and average carbonation in palate. Boring...

Toasted rice, toasted rice, more toasted rice, and no other flavors at all (hey, it could be worse). I was thinking popcorn at first, but rice quickly came to mind. Potable but nothing else going for it unless you happen to like toasted rice. I thought it was tolerable at first, but I was choking it down by the end. I would like to find a good NA beer because it is not always a good time to drink alcohol. This is NOT that beer. Go drink a malt instead. They taste better and even have a bit of hops. Edit: It even smelt of toasted rice on the way out!

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2016 Tasted 4/4/15. BB 07/01/2016. Poured a crystal clear yellow/pale golden colour with a one’s to two-finger white foamy head that diminished quickly to a nice collar that laced poorly. Carbonation very low and medium. Aroma nice with strong malt plus grain/corn. Taste is grainy and sweet. Very thin body. Metallic finish. It’s like drinking water but what else to expect?

330ml bottle (Comarket). Pale golden color. Sweet, sugary, malty, hop extract in aroma. Grassy, malty, chemical in taste. Very watery. Metallic, grassy notes in aftertaste. Quite fizzy. Never again!

According to my notes, I’ve had this before. This time it’s 275ml, BB Jan 2016. Pale, clear yellow, sparkling, small foamy white head leaves full lacing. Aroma is bread, ash, hay, a little sweet and corny. Actually, there is quite a lot of popcorn in the aroma. Body is medium, foamy, low-ish carbonation. Taste is sweet, corny, syrup. For the style, it really isn’t that bad.

Also: Margarine, Kunststroh, eingeweichtes Toastbrot, Gerstenbrei, Erbswurst, Tennisball.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours golden, single finger white head, very clear, carbonation medium to high. Aroma, a bit stinky, a bit nappy worthy....Taste initial breadiness, then a lot of straw, nice and crisp finish. Pardon the aroma, not too bad!
