BOTTLE 33CL from a flea market. :) Look: clear golden-amber with a quickly disappearing „soda” head. Aroma: ginger, soda water, some grapefruit. Taste: very sweet, lemonade, light grapefruit bitterness. Hardly can be called a beer.

Helles kupferfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr süß nach Limo, künstliche Aromen. Geschmack künstlich süß, Ginger, Citrus.

Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 17, 2013
from Bier-Bienne - pours a clear bronze beer with no foam left; fair aroma of ginger and citrus; notes of cane sugar; very sweet and thin-bodied, some sharpness yet dominated by the residual sugars and more ginger and grapefruit in the finish - could have been worse

Erzengel (9079) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2013
33cl-bottle.

ogivlado (7948) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 7, 2013
Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks). Pale to clear golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, ginger in the nose. The taste is totally dominant by ginger and it’s quite pleasant. Better than expected for sure.

Bottle from a supermarket in Marburg. Got it randomly from a shelf, turns out it was 3 months past its BB date at that point. Guess ogivlado and me will be the last ones to rate it. Oh well, ain’t that a stroke of luck. Poured a golden body with a big full white head... fizzy stuff. The aroma started off skunky for a second, but then turned out to bee sweetish, fresh ginger, and that’s a good thing. The taste is dominated by ginger and it’s mild, no real grapefruit I guess. Ok alcoholic ginger beer I guess, better than expected!

330 ml bottle. This tastes like ginger ale with beery undertones. I like ginger ale. It’s alright for a beer mix.

Extremely sweet aroma. No head. Clear amber colour. Sweet soda taste and a lightly ginger palate. Forgettable, except for the interesting palate.

Idiosynkrasie (7724) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 27, 2012
330ml bottle. Clear dark orangey golden colour with small, frothy, collapsing and completely fading, white head. Slightly artificial fruity aroma has notes of orange and bitter orange, decent ginger touch in the background. Taste is sweet, lemonade-like, has artificial sugar and acid notes, ginger flashes up shortly. Where’s the beer?

McTapps (6941) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 21, 2012
Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Orange-yellow colour, no head. Taste of ginger beer combined with green apples. Nice taste but has nothing to do with beer. I don’t really like it because I prefer "real" beer.
