COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Regular;
Our Hoppy Golden Ale is brewed as a traditional English session bitter, using a good balance of American Summit and Cluster hops gently added late in the boil, and a touch of roasted barley to give it an inviting copper colour.

The_Osprey (8682) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2017
Cask handpull at The Richmond Vault (previously Pigs Ear Beer Cellar) as Bedlam Golden Ale. Into tulip. Pale amber orange, clear and still with an enduring creamy off white head that leaves full thick lacing. Aroma is passionfruit and raspberry bubblegum, fruitier than anticipated with some gummy sweets and pick n mix. Body is smooth with lowish carbonation. Taste is burnt malts, bit smoked and phenolic, light metallic notes set against spiced breads. Not quite right. Barman says it’s just deliberately bitter and others have complained too. I mean I can get bitterness but deliberately phenolic? (6-4-3-3-10=2.6)
