Draught. Dark copper-brown body with a medium-sized white creamy head. Floral aroma consisting of some citrus, candy sugar, perfume, honey, and caramel malt. Cereal flavours along with honey but the spices counteract in a very natural and warming way. Delicate balance with no alcohol presence.
I’m always pleasantly surprised by some of the offerings at this brewpub because I have no idea what I’m ordering and I end up with some interesting spicy concoction.

Red copper ale with a thin creamy off white head. Pleasaing aroma of orange peels, sweet candi sugar and coriander. In mouth, a sweet candi base, with the saidd coriander and curacao, melding well together with alcohol warmth into a light smooth and bewitching beer. A hazy amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is very spicy and flowery with violets standing out. The flavor is sweet flowery and spices - again a lovely impression of violets, but also hints of honey and citrus. The end has slight notes of caramel combined with hops. Dark copper. Light off-white head diminishes slowly. Rooty honey nose, very sweet and floral with a mild butteriness, herbal and slightly earthy. A good malt and sweet flavor focus. Very flowery palate, sweet and honeyish, but the herbal counterparts seem to balance it all, just like the mineral nature cuts through the sweetness enough to avoid stickiness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Good stuff. willblake (2664) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUL 21, 2005
07.10.05 Tap at brewpub, RBSG tour. Brassy but clear. Flowers, blossom citrus, honeysuckle. Light spice and some peat at end. I have no idea what the style is supposed to be, but it’s pretty tasty.

(RBSG05) Clear copper body topped by a beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some orange, light earthy. Taste is medium sweet, orange, some coriander, minimal bitterness. Medium body. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUL 11, 2005
Deep copper color with a nice cream-colored head. Aroma has a very good and unique balance of sweet caramel malt, honey, and coriander spice. Sweet, lightly sticky body has a pleasant spice balance and a touch of earthiness toward a smooth, yet flavorful finish. rederic (3344) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 7, 2005
Mahogany color, with tan-colored foamy head, spicy coriander, curaçao, bluebrry, hint of wildflower honey aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with crystal malt, fruity of fieldberries, honeyish touch, spicy floral in a soft sweet maltiness and low dry finish. BATCH 4.
