Fresh, clean, hop forward aroma offers floral, grassy, lightly spicy notes with underlying pleasant cereal malt character. Clear golden blonde body is topped by a decent and lasting, pillowy white head. Spicy, floral, grassy hops play well against the grainy malt sweetness and restrained fruity esters with mild finishing bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub at March in Montreal 2006. asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 8, 2006

Bright gold with lasting, white froth. Curious sour aroma with noble hops and nice lagery maltiness. Pleasant sulfury lagery malt flavour (is this really an ale?) mixed with German hops bitterness that plays off the obvious ethanol flavour. Moderate carbonation with lasting bitterness and a bit mouth coating. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 29, 2006
Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Weak aroma of caramel. Decent flavor of saaz hops, pilsner and caramel malts with a mild bitter finiss. Medium body with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. This feels like a pilsner but with ale fermentation. rederic (3341) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 29, 2006
Bright yellow gold, with a white head, leaving laces, sweet pale malt, fruity floral hops aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a zesty citrusy floral hops, hint of sweet pale malt, note of citrus fruits, also maybe tangerine, hint of honeyness, leading towards a lingering hop bittering finish. Any first impressions?

-Moderate lacing is produced by the meager ring of head which tops the diluted yellow.
-You really have to dig in to find any character in the aroma.
-Hay and pils malt biscuitiness plead for forgiveness.
-The fizzy carbonation easily takes over the light and quenching body.
What if you dig deeper?
-Hay and grassy hops finally peer through the nearly inexistant foam.
-Pils maltiness rises nicely in the finish.
-Alcohol is again pretty useful, barely perceptible, but knowingly present.
-An easy session can be had with this substance-less blonde, but I don’t think it could keep me interested long enough.
On tap at the brewpub.
