Appearance dark brown with beige medium cap. Some lace shown. 4-
Flavor and Palate : yes, this is tri Schwartz. Medium light body yet not empty on palate. Dry roast with slight metallic touches. Clean, refreshing excellent thirst quencher. Very approachable version of this style. Nothing extreme square mid of style description. If to look for negatives here maybe was tad too soft. Finishing with hint of smoke.
Thanks to jercraigs for this. Pours black with a nice frothy brown top. Aroma is deep roasted malts and small vanilla. Taste is dry roasted malts, small chocolate and vanilla. Nice schwartz! Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 1, 2013
Black pour with a thin lace. Roasted malt aroma. Toasty flavour witga nice balanced bitterness. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 18, 2012
Deep black pour with a tight tan head. The nose is great. Soft cocoa aroma with some herbal backnotes. A moderate sweetness through the middle but it's balanced nicely by a little bit of light bitterness. Great balance. Another tasty lager from these guys. Roastier than is typical for a schwarzbier but it works.

The beer pours a beautiful black colour with a decent sized brown head. Aroma is very stout like with plenty of roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is roasted malt, somewhat mild coffee notes, and some yeastiness. A slight metallic aftertaste, but overall, quite enjoyable.
Draught at the brewery, Sept. 14. Pours black, very black, with ruby hues and a small diminishing creamy beige head. Aroma of light smoke, toasted malt, some fruit and dark chocolate. Flavour is malty with hints of smoke and coffee. Average bodied, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Seems right on style to what they wanted to make. Quite good. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2012

625ml bottle. Pours black with a three finger, tan head that thins to a half finger and leaves mild lacing.
Aroma is large with notes of chocolate and roasted malts.
Taste is slightly bitter/sweet with big chocolate notes and a short roasty aftertaste.
Medium body with a low-medium carbonation. Slightly creamy, bubbly mouth feel.
This is a very easy drink. Great taste and aroma. Reminds me of a good porter or chocolate stout but not as thick.
