Tap at the brewery, aroma is sweet peaches, taste is a bit wheaty, and a light peach finish, overall nice and refreshing

1 litre bottle from brewery. Pours a very murky dull golden colour with average, near white head. Aroma is fairly sweet peach, wheat and a fair amount if yeasty funk. Flavour is sweet peach and berry, chewy wheat and lots of funky yeasty notes. A bit on the thin side. Ok, but not their best effort.

[4774-20120914] Tap. Latex gloves and plastic aroma with a pinch of peach or apricot fruit. Hazy, light yellow brown body with a quick foamy white head. Super peach candy slices flavour has a long apricot finish. Medium body. Really interesting fruit characteristics but could not sample more than a small amount. (4/3/6/3/10) 2.6

Pale hazy golden-yellow pour. The aroma is quite wheaty. Notes of banana and bubble gum along with a light peachy fruitiness. Softly herbal on the back and a sort of light huskiness as well. Fresh and quite interesting though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A scent of infused fruit and the wheat. Not very drinkable though the elements are there. Weak mouthfeel. Looks fine.

Probaby the best beer i’ve had here yet. Has a defined. Peach aroma annd some nice soft yeast. Pours very cloudy yellow with decent lacing. Taste has fruity sweetness and some slight sourness, decent palate. Not at all bad and the one i would most recommend so far from the academy here.

2012-09-14. Murky pastel yellow with a small white head. 3+ First sip is a traditional hefe flavour, but quickly gives way to a ton of freshly squeezed peach juice. Quite sweet, with just enough bitterness to keep it from becoming cloying. Estery hefe character grows in the finish, but peach is the dominant character, and lingers in the finish. 7+ Sweet-tart peach aroma, mild hefe character below. Very smooth medium bodied palate, soft carbonation. Not a great, nor complex beer, but highly enjoyable. On tap at Beer Academy, Toronto

Aroma: sweet front, citrus with sugary notes. Berry like hints.6-
Appearance: hazed golden brew with lighter white top.
Palate / Taste: soft bodied, mellow slight fruit citrus vibe with peach endings. Felt real but was missing final touches.

Draught at the brewery, Sept. 14. Pours a murky yellow-orange with a small diminishing frothy white head. Mild aroma is yeasty and fruity along with some grain. Flavour’s quite fruity, with lots of peach, but also a bit watery. Average to medium bodied. Didn’t do much for me on this day, I found it good but not great, I’ll have to retry it.

HogTownHarry (7084) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - SEP 15, 2012
September 14, 2012 - at The Beer Academy - draught sample. Looks like pure peach juice - thick, murky deep orange with a smallish off-white frothy head with actual peach pulp laced into it. Smells like - ripe peaches and some peach pit bitterness - lush, juicy with a hint of acidity - it’s gorgeous. Taste - less peachy, has a dry minerally sharpness very much like their Kolsch - but it’s still pretty massively fruity, although oddly there’s no alcohol or real acidity to it, and it’s only as sweet as the peach character brings with it - very nice. Thick as hell, just a whisper of acidity, mildly carbonated, finishes quickly and leaves an aftertaste of freshly peel peaches (no pits, not skins) .... they really hit the mark they were aiming for with this one.
