625 ml bottle from Beer Academy retail store. Pours a clear orange colour with a modest-sized ever so slightly off white head. Delicate smoke and sweet bready malt mix nicely in the aroma. Smoke with a hint of bacon more pronounced in the flavour with some more subtle sweet grain and caramel. Average body and carbonation. Solid.

On Tap at the brewery.
Nice golden/amber pour with a good beige head. Really nice, bready, cereal, slightly roasty aroma. Some light grassy hops, but not too much. Quite authentic to the style so far. The middle has a nice low, soft carb, with a good mouth feel. The finish is again, quite bready, and grainy, with some subtle grassy hops. This was quite nice, i bought a growler. Draught at Beer Academy. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small lasting frothy white head. Aroma of bready malt first followed by light sulfar notes, light sugary sweetness and a hint of nuts. Malty, toasty, nutty flavour along with very light hops and an average bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. I like the flavour more then aroma, pretty good overall.

Deep orange colour topped by a thick white head. The nose is lightly sulfurous with a bit of toasted malt on the back. A little bit of soft herbal bitterness on the finish. Moderate sweetness up front but well-restrained. I like the bones here but the fermentation seems to have gotten away from them - it’s not buttery at all but a bit of DMS.
