2012-09-14. Crisp copper body, small off-white head. 3+ Flavour is malty, sweet lightly caramel followed by a sharp dry touch, sort of a dryish dusty malt character that is borderline astringent/cardboardy. 5+ Aroma is mild, dusty malt, caramel touches. Average palate. Did not care for this one. On tap at Beer Academy, Toronto
[4778-20120914] Tap. Mild petrol pea aroma. Clear, orange gold body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Straw-like vegetal mild yeasty grains flavour. Light-medium body. Average. (6/3/6/3/11) 2.9

Beer pours a transparent golden-red colour with a medium tan coloured head. The aroma is light caramel malts, weak citrusy hops, and some acidic notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was slightly sweet with caramel notes, and a weak bitter finish. The worst Beer Academy beer so far for me.
Draught at the brewpubGregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 16, 2012
Clear golden color with creamy head. Mild aroma of malt and some paper. Some malt flavor, a bit sweetish, and with lightly fruitiness, more Ale-like than Lager.
Bottle from the brewery store. Lovely appearance - bright amber-hued gold with a faint haze and strong white head. Aroma holds good caramel malt with a bit of honey toast, and some solid grassy-herbal hops supporting. Flavour starts quite sweet - honey, toasted cereal, a bit of butterscotch - but dries out somewhat in the finish with some herbal hops and a subtle spicy edge. Well made, well balanced, and really tasty. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 6, 2012
Clear pale amber pour. Fresh and clean with a soft minerally hoppiness and a kiss of noble spice. Crackery/bready malts that are perfectly lean and light. Fresh and well-balanced with a great clean yeastiness. No sulfur. Solid lager.

Smells a little malty, caramelized. Actually a lot of lacing. Pours amber red. Taste has some sugar, some malt. Alittle hops. Boring. Radek Kliber (7316) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - SEP 18, 2012

Aroma: malty front, clean with caramel hints. Refreshing , proper accents with lighter hop touch.
Appearance: very fine haze on amber gold. Medium creamy top. 3+.
Palate / Taste: medium plus bodied. Soft with some what sweet sugary side to it. Proper malt profile but this could be lagered bit more. Push bit farther to mature.
Draught at the brewery, Sept. 14. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with a small semi-lasting frothy white head. Slight mild aroma, sweet, with biscuity malt and grain. Flavour is sweet and slightly sugary along with grain, fruit, biscuity malt and a very light bitter finish. Average bodied. Just good, it’s a bit too sweet for me. September 14, 2012 - at The Beer Academy - draught sample. Clear gold with smallish diminishing frothy/creamy white head. Not much aroma - honeyed biscuit, light fresh cereal, a little grassiness. Taste a lot like Molson Stock Ale but without the adjuncts and shame - crisp, grainy, lightly sweet. Light body, good carbonation, finishes quick, a little sweet, a whisper of bitterness - kind of dull, but well-made.
