On tap at Beer Army in New Bern, NC. Pours golden yellow with a very leggy white head. Really leggy. Aroma is not much. Some hops. Taste is a bit weak. Not much citrus but grass and bitter hops with a bit of pine. Somewhat of a malty backbone. Mediocre IPA. hayduke (5677) - Eureka, California, USA - OCT 1, 2015
Sampled at GABF. In the tasting glass was copper. White foam. Nose of caramel malts and citrus hops. Flavor if citrus. Bitterness low for an IPA. radagast83 (8476) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 16, 2015
Draft at the DC Beer Festival in Nationals Stadium. Poured a clear medium-copper color with a small off-white head. Light earthy notes, light citrus, some zesty notes. Flavor was nice light malts and floral notes. Some mild citrus. Drinkable. radio_nowhere (1474) - Maryland, USA - APR 12, 2015
Draft sample at Cherry Blossom Beer & Wine fest, hazy copper color with off-white head. Aroma notes of grassy/earthy hops and caramel malt sweetness. Taste adds toasted grain and some pine. Medium body, moderate-low carbonation, dry with lingering pine/earthy finish. A little too rough for me. Iphonephan (7287) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - APR 1, 2015

bottle, amber colored pour, medium to fuller body. Malt forward IPA, sweet caramel maltiness, piney hops on the back end. Hints of floral & citrus notes. OK Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 12, 2015
Bomber from Whole Foods Market Asheville. Pours a hazy copper with a thin frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tropical fruits, diacetly, sweet caramel. The taste is citrus, tropical hops, caramel, buttery notes. Thin bodied, mild lingering bitterness. sloth (2936) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - DEC 20, 2014
Medium sized off white head with good retention and lacing. Clear, dark copper hued color. Nose of mild citrus and lightly sweet malts. Body is middlin, soft carbonation, lightly oily. Grainy malt flavors up front backed by light citrus notes, grainy, bready, a bit buttery as it warms. More of an english style? Lightly sweet, bready finish with little bite. Bomber from statelineliquors. jgb9348 (6482) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Very nice deep copper coloured body with a crisp peach glow and a good, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of malt, copper, metal, earth, nuts and a decent amount of relatively mild, soapy hops. Medium-bodied; Assertive earthy body with a good malt kick showing some caramel sweetness and a decidedly metallic and bitter flavour from the hops and earth. Aftertaste shows a deep and pungent flavour with most of the metal and earthiness coming out and little of the nice enjoyable flavours. Overall, a decent IPA showing a slight kick, although there is more from the metallic bitterness and earthy flavours than from hops. If I did this again, I’d pass on this beer and save my money for something else. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Logan Circle, P Street), DC on 01-September-2014 for US$6,99 sampled at home in Washington on 20-November-2014. jbruner (5289) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Pours a clear copper from the bottle with thin off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is piney hop over deep caramel and pale malt. Taste is way more malty, very little hop flavor at all. Definitely more toward the English variety, nothing special.
