My Bottom Line:
Rough leafy, earthy hoppiness (and bitterness) dominates this IPA’s accessory malts for a flavorful but unpolished experience.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the hazy ruby.
-There are few citrusy qualities for an IPA featuring NZ hop varieties...
-There sure are tons of hops in here, but they are not that well delivered in aroma and flavor.
-The ‘super leafy’ character reduces drinkability, and borders on astringence.
-This tastes like a brew trying to be bold just for the sake of being bold.
