Bottle: The appearance was a cloudy orange amber with one finger of head poured into a shaker glass. It left a fair amount of lace along the edges as the head dissipated. The aroma was faintly fruity and the flavor was of apricots and earth tones. Overall, not what I was expecting. jcartamdg (3534) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 20, 2014
Pours an orange amber with no head. Aroma is malty, lots of sweet malt. Taste is malty, very feint bitterness. Not good at all blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Bottled, dark pulpy orange color with tall frothy foam, aroma is prickly pine and citrus, heavy flavor of malty citrus, metallic bitter note, finish can be a little harsh Cybercat (6139) - Georgia, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Pours a nice amber with a fairly thick pale tan head. Strongly hoppy aroma has fruity and dusty malty undertones. Seriously hoppy flavor has strong malty and fruity supporting notes. Firm mouthfeel is hoppy and fizzy, quite pleasing. These folks have engineered a great IPA - any of them Georgia Tech graduates? drowland (9057) - Georgia, USA - JUL 27, 2013
7/27/13. On tap at Vintage at Fairhope. Amber pour with a small fluffy head. Overly sweet aroma and flavor, way too malty. I’m thinking it’s a touch old.

Good lace and a long lasting head. The alcohol is not overpowering, and it’s not as hoppy as some ipas. Bdcoll (2) - Hoover, Alabama, USA - MAR 1, 2013 does not count
Had a bomber from Hop City in Birmingham. Something was just missing here. Not a lot of bitterness that you'd normally expect from an ipa. Not a terrible beer but isn't going to win any awards.

Bottle from hop city Birmingham - pours orangish brown with an offwhite head, decent lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is bitter with a slick finish. Overall, it’s drinkable, but not exciting. DiarmaidBHK (5881) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Bottle from hop city Birmingham. Pours a really cloudy brown with a half inch of khaki foam that leaves a lot of lacing. Has a few floral, grapefruit notes on the nose. Inert on the tongue with a but of grapefruit on the finish. Hides it’s alcohol we’ll but it’s not the most exciting example of the style. Pastor (799) - Skowhegan, Maine, USA - DEC 2, 2012
great head and lacing looks pretty in the glass. mostly the alcohol comes through in the nose, not much of a hop presents. mostly malts and the flavor profile , the bitter’s show up slightly. you can tell this is from the East Coast
