Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Clear nut brown, mid sized head. Fruity nose with some grass. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Firm, bready buttery malt, slight grassy hops. Low bitterness, Quite pleasant.
My Bottom Line:Tropic (2) - SPAIN - JUN 6, 2012 does not count
Underhopped or very sweet, it doesn’t matter. Dust covers this brew’s toasted cereals and the creamy sugars get unpalatable quickly.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam stays atop the dark amber.
-The hefty body reduces drinkability considerably.
-Fruity caramel flavors reach dominance soon enough.
-Yet another Mexican artisanal brew that over-the-top sugary...
On tap at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City.
Amber colour. No head nor retention (poor service?) Sweet malt flavor and aroma, vienna malt. Hop presence just for bitterness, slightly and subtle dry finish, very nice. JoeMcPhee (9517) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2011
Rich amber pour. White head. The aroma is softly sweet and malty. Fairly clean with a nice light vienna flavour. Lightly hopped, but clean. Pretty fresh and tasty actually. Light toasted malt with a little bit of sweetness on the finish. Well attenuated. JuStuka (201) - Edo De Mex, MEXICO - SEP 1, 2008
Amber color, aroma and taste are moderately sweet, caramel, bready, not bad.

Had it at the Santa Fe shopping mall in Mexico city. I felt a very artificial taste in this, watered down with a caramel and smokey taste. Its better than other Mexican Viennas but maybe i dont like the style too much. I dont know why there are so many viennas in Mexico. rugbydude05 (478) - Bridgewater, NJ, New Jersey, USA - AUG 4, 2007
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2008 I went to the Beer Factory in Puebla and ordered this while watching a baseball game. The appearance is typical of a vienna-style beer, and the flavor and aroma are very pleasing. No bitterness, and in my opinion a better alternative to the stout they also offer. If you are in Mexico City or Puebla, make it a point to go to a Beer Factory. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 28, 2006
Bottle courtesy of Nekronos. A nice reddish amber lager with a thick big bubbled light moka head, lacing. Light caramel aroma, bready. In mouth, a light caramel malt, light roasted notes, very light bodied, with some reisdual nutty notes. Muchas gracias Raul. blankboy (7788) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 18, 2006
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of GregClow. Pours a hazy amber-brown with a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma was unexpected, there was the expected caramel malt but it had a pleasant smokiness to it. Flavour’s quite malty with some burnt or smoky notes and herbal hops -- a little watery. Light to medium bodied. Pretty good, an interesting take on the style and one of the best Mexican beers I’ve tried.
