UPDATED: OCT 31, 2008 I went to the Beer Factory in Puebla and ordered this while watching a baseball game. The appearance is typical of a vienna-style beer, and the flavor and aroma are very pleasing. No bitterness, and in my opinion a better alternative to the stout they also offer. If you are in Mexico City or Puebla, make it a point to go to a Beer Factory. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - APR 22, 2005
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2006 That beer is endeed an Ale, I don’t know how Vienna is it, but it is not definitelly my type. Although the taste is not bad. ghawener (1607) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - NOV 6, 2003
One of the few mexican beers worth trying form this small brewery, get it draft and it is quite decent. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 13, 2006
Bottle shared with blankboy, tupalev & HogTownHarry - my bottle via a trade with Nekronos. Clear dark amber with a moderate off-white head. Aroma has nice notes of caramel, malt and a faint smokiness. Body is a bit thin, but OK for the style. Flavour is very clean and fresh, with light malt, some burnt sugar, and interesting herbal notes in the finish. Not exciting, but very well made. gerardoluna (193) - MEXICO - AUG 12, 2008
Good amber color with good start head.
NICE malty hoppy aroma

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2006 Bottle (325ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev, GregClow’s bottle via Nekronos. Deepish copper with a small off-white foamy head. Dry roasty leafy aroma, quite grainy, not much sweetness, herbal, dry hops. Taste is sweeter, a little syrupy, not bad, a little bland. Average body, lightly carbonated, sticky. Ehhh, nicely made, but not memorable. omhper (25143) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2013
Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Clear nut brown, mid sized head. Fruity nose with some grass. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Firm, bready buttery malt, slight grassy hops. Low bitterness, Quite pleasant. PeterA (342) - EL SALVADOR - MAY 3, 2004
Malty, sweet aroma. Off white head, nice clear brownish-red color. Flavor has some chocolate to it, and maybe a touch of smokiness. The palate is thin, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. This is a good beer for Mexico, but overall it’s just a little bit bland. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 25, 2005
Clear dark copper body with off-white head. Aroma and taste are moderately sweet, caramel, bready. Watery light-medium body, some stickiness. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 18, 2006
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- courtesy of GregClow. Pours a hazy amber-brown with a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma was unexpected, there was the expected caramel malt but it had a pleasant smokiness to it. Flavour’s quite malty with some burnt or smoky notes and herbal hops -- a little watery. Light to medium bodied. Pretty good, an interesting take on the style and one of the best Mexican beers I’ve tried.
