COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Spillata a pompa.

My Bottom Line:
This coffee-laced Milk Stout’s prevalent lactose presence dwells in a suave mouthfeel, leading to a quiet, perhaps underwhelming finish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A fluffy head of foam protects the brown-edged darkness.
-Coffee is not too prominent, blending in nicely with the chosen grain bill.
-This became a great accompaniment to a spicy, meaty meal.
-Lightly roasted malts evolve into raisins at times.
-This is not as sweet as most Stouts of its ilk.
-The finish is not bitter at all; I would have preferred a tad more hop or roasted malt character there.
-Coffee contributes pleasantly to the aroma, adding biscuity notes.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, from Kihoskh) The beer deep dark brown and clear. Its head was small and almost white. Aroma contained chocolate, sweetness, roastedness and coffee. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roastedness, mild sourness, hops, coffee, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste had coffee, burntness and bitterness. Perhaps a bit too bitter compared with the other flavours. Still this was an enjoyable brew.

Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and vanilla. Flavor is rather sweet and rather bitter. Bitter finish. Soft and very smooth. Yummy. 220410

500ml bottle from IPB. At home.
Appearance : Pitch black with med creamy brown head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Lots of coffee with some sweetness. Lactose maybe... Some resinous hops too. Nice sweetness and very nice coffee.
Taste : Nice sweetness with nice coffee. Light caramel and chocolate. Finish has nice notes of chocolate and coffee.
Overall : Carbonation is very soft. Nice because it gives a really smooth and creamy mouthfeel but still, I think it’s a little bit flat. Finish is very nice. Gets even better with time. Very nice coffee and chocolate. Nice dark chocolate finish. Very nice sweetness on the nose. Almost like a milk shake. Awesome creamy mouthfeel. Awesome finish. Very nice stuff. Big surprise here.

[email protected] Olbar, Copenhagen. Black looks with a small creamy tan head. Aroma had traces of coffee and cream, dark chocolate and vanilla. Dryish flavour with some roasted malt notes and more coffee and cream. Lacked any real complexity. Rather underwhelming fayre on the whole.

Bottle. Deep brown colour, nice dark creamy head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, weak liquorice, sugar, cream, milk, very soft malty stuff, dark dried fruits, maybe figs and some coffee as well. Taste is very soft and creamy with sugar, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Also caramel and some liquorice. Big taste on a nicely managed and soft palate.

.5L bottle which pours dark with a fairly big head. The aroma is chocolate and a somewhat milky touch finished with strong coffee bitterness. The carbonation is great, which makes it easy to drink Great stout
