COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

[email protected] Olbar, Copenhagen. Black looks with a small creamy tan head. Aroma had traces of coffee and cream, dark chocolate and vanilla. Dryish flavour with some roasted malt notes and more coffee and cream. Lacked any real complexity. Rather underwhelming fayre on the whole.

Bottle. Deep brown colour, nice dark creamy head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, weak liquorice, sugar, cream, milk, very soft malty stuff, dark dried fruits, maybe figs and some coffee as well. Taste is very soft and creamy with sugar, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Also caramel and some liquorice. Big taste on a nicely managed and soft palate.

.5L bottle which pours dark with a fairly big head. The aroma is chocolate and a somewhat milky touch finished with strong coffee bitterness. The carbonation is great, which makes it easy to drink Great stout

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2014 Pours a dark brown with a brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. In the taste you get the coffee, chocolate and roasted malts, caramel and sweetness from the lactose which gives it a round palate.

Bottle courtesy of Jan and Charlotte, thanks! this was passed to me at Kerstbier Festival, Essen Belgie, 18.12.10 and consumed 31.12.10 Dark brown with beige head. There is big coffee and cream and roasty bitter flavours going on in the mouth, however its smooth and very drinkable. Really nice beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
