Tap @ Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen 15/7-14. Roasted notes, sweet, coffee and chocolate, smooth mouthfeel, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry and bitter with coffee and roasted notes. M_Sack (762) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 15, 2014
Bottle. Jet black with a thick, luscious, mocha coloured head that coats the side of the glass throughout. Understated aromas of milk chocolate, roasted grain, coffee and a backnote of vanilla. Initial sweetness of milk chocolate leading into roasty grain, coffee, a hint of liquorice and a long savoury, bitter finish. Nice and complex. Smooth mouthfeel. Perfect carbonation. Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours cloudy very dark brown, with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and coffee, with roasty notes. Sweetish flavour of malt and caramel, with notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Bitter and roasty aftertaste. Good. Splitenz (370) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2014
Beer Here’s Ammestout is a wonderful beer. I really like stout, and I think the "milk stout" genre is very interesting. It is smooth, but with a good bitter bite and that slightly ashy aftertaste I’m very fond of. The jet black colour is almost captivating and the label, as always with Beer Here, is one for good conversation and mirth. cgarvieuk (25724) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2014

UPDATED: APR 27, 2014 Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pitch black, light brown head. Roasted coffee and malty aromas. Coffee, milk, chocolate and slightly liquorice-ey taste. Love the milky palate of it.
This is by far my favorite stout. I also love the artwork on the label! Cantabrian (1157) - Christchurch NZ, now Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 7, 2014
Don’t get put off by the ugly label or the herbal aroma of olives and unripe coffee berries. This is a delicious dark brown concotion, with a creamy light brown head. Flavours of roasted malts, rather bitter, with bitter chocolate, milk powder/baby formula, green coffee berries and a lovely liquorice saltiness. Nice and thick, it is chaly on the palate, creamy and hearty. Not perfect, but an exellent example of a good milk stout without being overly sweet.
