UPDATED: APR 29, 2012 Bottle at Atticus Finch and Grain&Grape. Masterpiece, great nose and taste. Aromas of chocolate and vanilla, with hints of liquorice and nuts. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and full bodied. Black, with a frothy head. Labove (427) - Rome, ITALY - APR 19, 2011
Dolce, cioccolatosa, gustosissima, tra le più buone stout mai assaggiate. Da bere a litri! mkel07 (6195) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 8, 2012
500ml bottle. Thick and sludgy black in the glass with loads of thick dark tan foam. Bitter aromas of roasted malt and chocolate. Thick in the mouth with a sweetness that cuts through everything else. Very nice. maley1 (1301) - Calgary, CANADA - SEP 13, 2013
On tap, black pour with frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Taste of caramel, malts, roasted coffee, chocolate milk. Perfect carbonation and creamy mouthfeel, absolutely delicious, brilliant beer! Sparf (284) - SWEDEN - MAR 15, 2014
Härligt syrlig, rostad arom. tendens till kött och rök. Och så en dos kaffe.
Kompakt svart öl med mockafärgat skum.
Mjuk men kraftig rostning. Kaffesmak dominerar i den fylliga och mjuka kroppen.
Eftersmaken är inte så torr som förväntat och något kort. I övrigt en superb stout.

Beer Here’s Ammestout is a wonderful beer. I really like stout, and I think the "milk stout" genre is very interesting. It is smooth, but with a good bitter bite and that slightly ashy aftertaste I’m very fond of. The jet black colour is almost captivating and the label, as always with Beer Here, is one for good conversation and mirth. Skinnyviking (9640) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2010
Bottle. Beautiful creamy medium high and long lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Wouw. The ghost brewer in South Africa seems to be alive and still kicking. As a coffee afficionado I do indeed like this powerful coffe aroma. Nothing else but what more do you need. The flavor of roasted malt with coffee hints of alcohol and a fair amount of hops bitterness is not quite as impressive as the aroma but it comes close. Low carbonation. Lovely long smooth roasted coffee aftertaste. Impressive beer with such a low alcohol percentage. Defreni (3277) - Husum, DENMARK - OCT 21, 2010
