Bottle. Aroma is very roasty with strong blue cheese hops. Some liquorice and caramel. Flavour is dry and roasty with a mild hop note. Need to try a fresher bottle for the hops to shine I guess. Still very nice though. Cunningham (7969) - Halden, NORWAY - APR 5, 2012

Pours dark brown, nearly black in glass, huge tanned head. Smells of blackberries, citrus zests and roasted malts. Malty body, some sweetness, but on the lesser side. Distinct roasted malts with some coffee as well. Nice oily feel and quite dry on the palate. Nice bitter finish with berries and some malt bitterness as well. Fat Cat’s black cousin

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Poured a deep dark brown colour with a generous tan head. Enticing nose of piney hop, citrus, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Flavour was a decent mix of roasted malt, citrus and some well judged hop bitterness. Considering its strength there is a lot packed in here. This black cat is more than welcome to cross my path any time. LoFi (1718) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 6, 2011

Aroma: fruity, roasted malt, citrus.
Taste: hoppy, citrus, black currants, roasted, licorice, chocolate, toffee.
For the low ABV, this is very nice and full of flavours.
