UPDATED: SEP 23, 2012 Deepest ruby-brown with a thin beige head; aroma of roast malt and dark fruit; lashings of velvety chocolate in the taste alongside roasted malt, with a dash of toffee and vanilla; a balancing floral hop bitter finish; smooth and ever so slightly spicy; a quality flavoursome beer that tastes much stronger than it is; sessionable, but at £6.10 a bottle it won’t be a session I’ll be having very often (very glad I tried it though). Roasted malts on the nose with some coffee. Taste includes mostly chocolate and some coffee with a hint of some hoppyness. Pretty impressive beer that lacks a little body and some flavour but quite sessionable. I am happy I bought two of these. Jaksmart (454) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2011
Bottle. Dark red, medium cream foam. Dark malt profile, some quite apparent hops, faint liquorice, more mild on the hop side. Taste has a porter-like smoky roast with a nice hoppy bitterness. Spices as well. Big body for a 4,7. MOLA_DK (379) - DENMARK - JAN 27, 2012
Pours clear, dark. Fruity nose with hints of chocolate. Nice medium dry mouthfeel and, some chocolate and hops in the taste. Finish is nice with some bitternes IluvatarMilan (282) - Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2011
Bottle. Beautiful ruby body, slightly opaque, very thick tan head. Creamy and spicy aroma. Very full-bodied, soft mouthfeel. Nice malty backbone with subtle fruity hop aromas. Aftertaste is refreshingly dry bitter. Remarkable beer, also considering its abv

Floral, citrus taste and fruity. Dark brown body with a medium white head. Caramel and malt feelings but also liquorice. Very nice beer. Dry hoppy at the end. Nnudd (69) - Helsinge, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2010

I just love the sound from the big medium brown head, when poured - crisp and fresh - the sound of a CS brew. Nice aroma from the hop. Clear brown with lacings. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Taste is rich of hops, but i also taste the roasted malt with chocolate notes. Nice beer.
You taste the bitterness in the aftertaste, but the overall taste is intense porter and stout. A bit of liqourice. The burnt taste of caramel is quite intense. Patrizietto (3) - ITALY - NOV 16, 2010 does not count
