500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, ABV is 4.7%. Very dark brown colour, big beige head. Nice aroma of fruity and grape-like Nelson Sauvin hops, some roasty notes too, hints of dark chocolate. Refreshing flavour, mostly due to the hops, but there are also distinct and dry roasty notes, hints of ashes in the finish. A decent enough beer, but I am still not convinced that the recently invented combination of fruity hops and dark roasty beer is the best idea ever. Biggish brown head. Deep dark red barely translucent body with strong carbonation. Roasty wooden gooseberry aroma. Dry roasty wooden dusty taste with fruity gooseberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty resiny chocolate aftertaste with metallic gooseberry notes. Nice and clean, but I don’t enjoy the combination of roastiness and citric hops. (Bottle, 0.5 l, at Pikkulintu) The beer poured dark brown and almost clear. Its head was quite large and shaded with brown. Aroma had mildly malts and quite a lot of black currant leaves. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours had malts, hops, mildly liquorice, pine, tangerine and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. Impressive that such a tasty beer can be brewed so that the ABV is only 4.7 %. tiong (7342) - Espoo, FINLAND - DEC 20, 2010

Taste hoppy, herby, medium bitter, malty, toasted malts, hint of darker fruits.
hoppy low bitter hetby aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, full body and a creamy texture.
Very good considering the low alcohol percentage. Beer5000 (6545) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 11, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2011 500 ml bottle. Amber body with a big, creamy beige head. Very nice aroma of grapefruit and other citric fruits, pine and caramel. Flavor is pleasant, light roasted malt, caramel, lots of citric fruit and well-balanced bitterness. Feels quite light and refreshing, still distinct in flavors, relatively complex, smooth and balanced. Really nice considering such low alcohol, could easily be a favorite session beer. Great stuff! zvikar (6198) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - MAR 6, 2012
