COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Ungstrup (38414) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2010
Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of hops lending it notes of cats piss and citrus, as well as notes of caramel and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, malt, and hops, the latter lending it notes of cats piss, leading to a very bitter finish. The body is thin.

clear dark brown, large smooth offwhite head very strong nelson sauvin aroma, "cat piss", actually when i think cat piss and not hops, the aroma is not that good. faint malty base. flavor is hoppy, roasted malts, malty base, hops dominate.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown, almost black. Clear. Tall light fluffy beige head that clings to the glass. Bold hoppy aroma with notes of licorice. Ashy aroma. Peppery and minty flavours. Licorice flavours. Medium body. Grassy hop flavours. A really strange beer, which reminds me of liquid sweet licorice mixed with grassy hops. Very flavourful for a beer this low in alcohol.

Bottle at home. Light hazy orange-brown with a beige head, nice lacings. Aroma light malty (roasted), heavy hoppy (spicy). Aroma light to moderate sweet, heavy bitter. Light to medium body, kind of watery.

larsga (7656) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 26, 2011
Biggish brown head. Deep dark red barely translucent body with strong carbonation. Roasty wooden gooseberry aroma. Dry roasty wooden dusty taste with fruity gooseberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty resiny chocolate aftertaste with metallic gooseberry notes. Nice and clean, but I don’t enjoy the combination of roastiness and citric hops.
