Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Poured a deep dark brown colour with a generous tan head. Enticing nose of piney hop, citrus, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Flavour was a decent mix of roasted malt, citrus and some well judged hop bitterness. Considering its strength there is a lot packed in here. This black cat is more than welcome to cross my path any time. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2012
Bottle. Aroma is very roasty with strong blue cheese hops. Some liquorice and caramel. Flavour is dry and roasty with a mild hop note. Need to try a fresher bottle for the hops to shine I guess. Still very nice though. Travlr (24758) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 30, 2012
Bottle. Dark clear maroon color. Aroma of grass, flowers, subtle schnapps. Taste is roasty but floral. Interesting combination. Plovmand (8311) - Helsinge, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2010
Bottle. Dark brown body with a creamy tan head. The aroma is caramel, light roast, passion fruit and citrus. Burned rubber, citrus, passion fruit, caramel and some roasted malt in the flavour. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2010
On tap. Carlsens Kvarter in Odense. Near black ith a lasting tan head. Strong but elegant, juicy, Nelson Sauvin aroma, of white wine, apricot and tangerine. Hoppy flavour, with medium bitterness, and a faint hint of coffee and ash in the finish. As delicious and sessionable as the original Fat Cat.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2011 Nice nutty brown pour with a nice tanned head. Aroma has mango, pineapple, apples, burnt rubber, the nice ole nelson sauvin, lightly roasted and caramel. It tastes amazing of lots of nelson with pineapple, mango, apples, slightly roasted and caramel sweetness, quite the same as the nose. This beer rocketh! Nnudd (69) - Helsinge, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2010

I just love the sound from the big medium brown head, when poured - crisp and fresh - the sound of a CS brew. Nice aroma from the hop. Clear brown with lacings. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Taste is rich of hops, but i also taste the roasted malt with chocolate notes. Nice beer.

Black with beige head. Aroma of fruit - peach and passionfruit. Flavor with roasted notes and more esters.
