Bottle. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich caramel and toffee with nice flowery hops and excellent bitter finish. sunevdj (4087) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2009
Bottled at home. Pours a clear brown with a small, beige, diminishing head. Smells of caramel malts. Sweet with aromas of caramel and alcohol. Some nuts and residual sugars. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Only a bit of bittering hops in the finish with sweetness. Did somebody say imperial brown ale? Hazy brown color with a fine light brown head. Malty nutty aroma with notes of caramel and soaked bread. Flavor is sweet nutty with a nice alchohol feeling and some choclate like bittersweetnotes. Good one Blom (843) - Sorø, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2009
Dark brown with an ok head. Aroma of hazelnuts, roasted malts and alcohol - perhaps a bit of basement too. The flavour is not really that harmonic - a bit on the heavy side with rye bread dominating combined with a bit of chocolate and caramel. henrikb (1263) - Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 23, 2009
Bottle - Light chestnut body with a quite large creamy but fast disappering beige head; Very intense deep darker roasted aromas, I cant really figure what it is but something really nice and sweet is in it; Lightly red dried fruity body with a huge soft carbonation, roasted malt bitter and some sweetness, a little strange; Long very full finish, again very roasted to almost burnt (to much) mixed with lots of darker sweeter aromas and a dry earthy hop bitterness. Quite confusing that doesn’t really come together, the roast, the sweetness, the bitterness, the dry parts it is a little to much.

Thank you, Madsnp
Pours red-brown with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has a little fruit, weak roasted notes and some cocoa-powder to it. Low carbonation, okay, dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry and grainy, lots of chocolate. Feels a bit out of balance with the harsh chocolate notes. It still fairly drinkable, though.
Dark brown colour with off-white head.Aroma of chocolate and rosted malt.Flavor of nuts and caramel.well balanced and with sweet long finish.
