Bottle. Hazy Orange Amber with a thick, fluffy White head. Aroma is citrussy and a little bit peachy with indications that it’s going to be a bit sweet. In reality the flavour is like Grapefruit essence. Dramatically hopped (which I like). There is a touch of caramel in the background but really, the hops are the star here and they swell in to an all consuming bitterness. A pretty dramatic IPA.

Ottima ipa che racchiude in sé un pó tutto quello che si cerca in una birra di questo genere. Fruttata, agrumata, ottimo equilibrio tra malto e luppolo con un bel finale secco amarognolo.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Copper hazy, big beige head. Smells of spice, wood, citrus and other hops. Medium sweet, quite malty, nice fruityness and some mint in the end. Heavy bitter, very much resins and some citrus zests. Nice IPA, quite true to style and for sure a hop bomb. Still not as punk as Beer Here often is.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2014 Second rating: Big offwhite head. Slightly hazy deep yellow body with light carbonation. Orangey minty spicy aroma with herbal notes. Dry-sweet orangey toffee and biscuits taste with mealy orange rind notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry spicy resiny wooden aftertaste with orangey herbal toffee notes. A sugary background through the whole thing. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.) 7,4,7,3,14=3.5

First rating:Big offwhite lasting head. Clear deep yellow body with light carbonation. Catty resiny peach aroma with pineapple notes. Dry resiny minty mealy taste with pineapple notes. Mid-bodied. Sharp, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Dry mango and pineapple aftertaste with resiny peppery notes. It’s not bad, but a bit harsh and pineapple-y. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly Vika, Oslo.) 6,4,6,2,13=3.1

Gr0ve (2177) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 11, 2012
500 ml bottle. Hazy whiteish golden. Tall fluffy off-white head that clings to the glass. Bold citrusy and piney hops aroma. Rich and malty. Body is light and the beer appears very drinkable, dangerously so. Smooth texture. Quite bitter, but there is enough flavours and sweetness to balance. A very nice IPA, one of the better European IPA in fact.

Albe (56) - ITALY - DEC 8, 2012
Hazy orange body, and a tall, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light hoppy, mostly resin and flowers and a little malt. In the mouth, hops are more intense, delivering resin, herbs, and citrus adding complexity. Bitterness is very well balanced with the citric taste, and the lively carbonation leaves an average finish duration. Overall not simple and incredibly enjoyable.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2013 Draft - Hop forward with some malts peeking through. Cloudy yellow with minimum head. Grassy with tons of perfume. Orange and citrus is also there with a lingering mild bitterness.

sneevel (71) - - DEC 7, 2012
Pours a light orange golden with a medium white head. Nicely aromatic, lots of grassy hops, some sitrus. Same in the mouth, nice and hoppy, but this could use a bit more malty concentration.

SirLimpsalot (4162) - SWEDEN - DEC 5, 2012
@ Basunen: En lite jordig och kryddig IPA med tydliga belgisk touch, lite vete och en örtig humleton. Aning besk men annars helt ok.

Simonsen (1267) - NORWAY - DEC 1, 2012
Flaske kjøpt på på polet. Lys farge en god fyldig smak av gress og humle . En god ipa.
