Hazy orange with a big white head. Fruity aroma with orange, peach and bubblegum, along with a herbal-floral touch, perhaps like lavender. Sweet fruity and floral flavour with a malty backbone.

Bottle Christian Andersen really knows how to brew a good trippel. A style that often gets too cloying, too overpowering, too alcoholic, but this ones works really well. Dark cloudy amber with huge white head. Some yeast in the head draws down a little bit. Aroma marcipan, yeast, coriander, citrus. Very nice. Taste sweet malty, the high alcohol content is often a problem with this style, but it?s very well hiddne here. Long finish. I?ve often thought that it was a shame Beer Here didn?t continue to brew the Belzebub, but this one fills the place. One of the best tripels I?ve tasted. And so much better than the much overrated Teve Mad Bitch.

Bottle. High creamy lasting off-white head. Hazy dark amber body. Solid aroma of roasted malt and caramel with mild spicy notes as well as a bit of marzipan. The malt also dominates the flavor but a fair amount of hops bitterness is present in combination with some spicyness. Very well balanced with an alcohol level that is nicely hidden. Low carbonation. Long finish.

0.75l bottle from Ølbutikken. This one pours a cloudy deep golden colored body, on the top there’s a tall slowly fading eggshell colored head - lots of dots and curtains down the sides of the glass. The aroma has lots of nice Belgian sweetness. White candied sugar, apples, banana and yeast sweetness. Some pear and a little bit of something that reminds me of smoke. Guess it’s the rye. It tastes quite good. It’s really on the sweeter side this! Not cloying, but really banana and sugar sweet. Some integrated alcohol, a little sting. It has a good oily texture in the mouth and it’s above average on the carbonation. Didn’t really get too much of the rye, but it’s a different tasting tripel and I quite enjoyed this one. 16.06.2016
