English: HopCat is a dogma-beer based on BeerHere Fat Cat, brewed with 100% Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand and with a modest 4,7% alcohol.
This beer has almost twice the hops of regular Fat Cat. The result is a very aromatic and bitter ale with great drinkability.
Ingredients: Water, malt, hops and yeast.

Tap at lbaren. Orange beer with light reddish edges and an off-white head. Aroma is very Nelson Sauvin: Scents of exoctic fruits, orange and mandarin., some resiny notes. Light malty notes, a little caramel. Taste is a nicely balanced bitter-sweetness, very sessionable. Medium body, low carbonation. My new favorite session beer....

(on top @ lbaren) Pours a clear amber with medium, off-white head and lace. Aroma is a fat nelson hop rich with tropical fruits and the usual hints of cats pee. Oily texture, soft carbonation, full malt body with a dry and somewhat bitter finish. Taste is lightly sweet up front with marked grassy notes turning into a fresh but subdued bitterness towards the end. This beer was clearly designed for drinkability and is perfectly sessionable - at least for those, who like the Nelson Sauvin hop as I do. Thanks go to lbaren and Beer Here for the free sample. Girlfriend says: "Very pleasant. Fruity and not too bitter."
