COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled (Beer Hunters, BB 09/2010). Clear amber color, small off-white head, some lace. Strong hoppy nose: resin, trpopical fruits, pine, at least Nelson Sauvin in it? Medium-bodied. Bitter, ryeish-bready hoppy flavor. Nicely balanced brew, especially if you like hops!

Bottle as Ryehopper IPA. Pours clear orange gold with off white head. Nose and taste of salted pineapple, rye, spicy malt, tropical fruit, mango and resin. Finishes lightly spicy rye. Medium body. Great balance.

500ml bottle (Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki)
Hazy orange. Served very cold. Massive fruity aroma - peach and melon. Huge biscuity palate - tracle flapjack with fruits and roasted edges. First taste is stunning. However, I might tire easily, let’s see... The carbonation is sharp, but that’s hindered by it being served at Papsolute zero. Treacle and spicy dried mixed peal. Tingly fruity finish, some ginger and clove. Half way down, and the rich tracly roast is still great. Liked it all the way to the end. Nice one!

Bottle, 66cl. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a small, dense, beige head. Citrus and peaches in the aroma, also a good dash of pinecones and resin. The malts are mostly hiding. There’s some sweetness in the mouth, but also flavorwise it’s mostly citrus and peach, and some pinecones and resin. Medium body with pleasant carbonation. Peachy finish with resin. Not much bitterness, but damn tasteful. Lovely. 090828

Draft -Sweet grapefruit with a nice malty background. Cloudy copper with a thin head. Perfumy grapefruit with lots of sweet malts. Bitter but balanced finish. Nice IPA.

Hazy dark orange, bit amber colored. Fantastic hoppy smell and taste. Light body though, soft carbonation, but long bitter hoppy aftertaste.

MY DANISH RATING # 1000. Tap @ Carlsens Kvarter. Pours cloudy orange with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose has a massive amount of hops. Lots of pine and peach. Taste is hoppy as well but some rye and malts pops up. Very crisp and also quite extreme. One dimensional and perhaps a bit out of balance - but pretty damm tasty. Crisp and smooth. Long bitter dry end. Nice.

MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2010
Draught at KØ10. Distinct grassy aroma, a little sweet. Hazy amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, grassy and hoppy. High bitterness. Also some caramelly hop.

bhensonb (15967) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 26, 2013
Bottle shared by Marcus as Ryehopper. Pours brassy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is mixed floral/spice - rather strong. Med body. It starts a bit sweet. Hints of rye spice. Hop then, then comes malt. Finishes increasingly bitter. Gettin’ bitter all the time. Subtle in its way.

Borup (15943) - Albertslund, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2010
Draught at Lord Nelson Bar Copenhagen. Hazy amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, fruit, malt, hops and spice.
