COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Jado (786) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - JUL 16, 2016
500 ml bottle. Inky black body capped with a fluffy tan head that sticks around. Getting black coffee, dark fruit, cherries, raisins and dark chocolate in the nose. Dark chocolate is more prominent in the flavour, along with stewed fruit and coffee nibs, all overlaid by a gentle roast. Medium to full bodied. Lingering bitter finish leads into a coffee tinged aftertaste. Smooth and rich.

Pour foaming and distinct aroma of coffee. Mouth feeling is creamy and rich, and its main flavor is coffee with added cream. A little touch of English liquorice on the end, but then most of the fatty feeling of coffee w / cream. Long bitterness.

On tap @ Patricks. Clear, dark reddish brown body with a moderate sized tan head. Aroma has mild roasted dark malt with chocolate and coffee. Flavor is sweet dark malt, light roast, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and decent bitterness. Fine balanced body and average aftertaste. OK, not very complex but well made easy drinkable stout.

Black body with a light brown head. Malty, sweet and strong aroma of chocolate, chocolate sauce, roasted malt, coffee and faint generic fruits. Strong flavour of chocolate, coffee and sweet fruits. Some very dark roasted notes pop up in the background in the long-lasting and moderate to light bitter finish. The beer feels quite sugary, especially in the late finish, without me being able to identify the moderate sweetness as lactic sugar. Lovely mouthfeel, its a full-bodied and creamy beer with a soft carbonation. Brilliant stuff!
[50 cl bottle, enjoyed 1 month after BB date, from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo]
