Bottle at Globen smagning. Pours a murky brown with no head. Smells of grapes and fruit gum. Sweet and slightly sour. Also fruity aromas. Quite dry. No carbonation. Medium bodied. Long, bitter and very dry finish with hints of yoghurt.

madsberg (11798) - Søborg, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2009
Draught @ Globen, Cph. Reddish coloured. Unclear. Light brown almost non existent head. Sweetness, light sourness, cookie, fruits and berries in the aroma. Flavour is similar. Loads of berries, sourness and grape. Is quite vineous. Surprisingly well balanced. Mediu to full bodied. Sweetish and grapish end. Quite interesting experiment.

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2009. Hazy dark amber color, fine beige head. Aroma is malty, fruity and has some sourness. Flavor is fruit, malt and a fine sourness. Interesting! «Den Skæve Hane». Brewed on old bread...

Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2009
Draught. [Beer festival 2009] Small bubbly almost beige like head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Aroma of fruity and citrus notes. Over the palate came a hint of mild berries and a hint of wine like notes with a twist of caramel in there as well. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet and acidic flavor. Fruity tart like finish.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2010 On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s an unclear, brownish golden beer with a small, beige head. Fruity-sour and berryish nose, and the flavor starts in the same way. Pale malts and an apple-like sourness as well, and it’s finishing with a lemon-sour flavor. Medium body, silghtly astringent. A beer I didn’t care very much of, but would very much like to revisit. Cloudy brown with a small white head. Fruity aroma of plum and citrus. Dry and tart with fruity notes and quite a bit of dates.
